Hello!
I am Emma Jägbeck, the person behind OAS Design. I live with my family and my mini dashhound, Cesar, in a residential suburb south of Stockholm.
I have run my business since 2012 and offers services in garden and interior design.

Even as a child I was fascinated by refurnishing both mine and my mother's room. I enjoyed painting and making changes to the furniture to make a new look. I made flower arrangements from 80s dried flowers and often took the opportunity to do all this when I was alone at home and no one could say no.
I am driven by my belief that the environments that surround us affect how we feel.
I like weekdays and want to help my clients turn them into something good because then you've kind of cheated the system and won. I have summarized that as
"The Art of Living" which is also OAS Design's slogan.

I see no contradiction in function and aesthetics. And my work always focuses on the collaboration with my clients and my goal is to create rooms that my clients feel at home in, both indoors and outdoors.
When I think about design, I think about it like an outfit. What is needed for it to be stylish, comfortable and necessary to create a whole?
My style is constantly changing as I am inspired by the architecture, the place and the customer who lives or works there.
I enjoy creating site-built solutions that fit the surface and the customer perfectly. It's an effective way to really establish a design in a place.
